The best part about golf is its versatility and the unique experience it offers with each round. Whether you’re playing competitively or just enjoying a casual round with friends, golf provides a blend of physical activity, mental challenge, and social interaction. For me the best part is hanging out with friends in the nature and taking in the fresh air.
Reflecting on fond memories of golf, my thoughts immediately gravitate towards the sense of community and friendship shared among friends. It’s about the meaningful conversations, emotions, and the bonds experienced within the group. These shared moments resonate deeply. As for the game itself, witnessing a hole-in-one and achieving my personal best round of -4 are standout highlights that come to mind.
I was inspired to take up golf through my years playing ice hockey. During that time, many hockey players were already involved in golf. One notable inspiration was Teemu Selänne, who was not only my hockey idol but also renowned for his passion for golf. As a youngster, I often accompanied my father to golf tournaments with his friends, where I first became familiar with golf clubs. In 2000, I earned my green card, and by then, Tiger Woods had already established himself as a prominent role model.

Sports have played a significant role in my life, and I continue to prioritize staying active and healthy. Additionally, I find solace in spending time at our summer cottage, enjoying the company of friends, exploring nature, and pursuing my passion for photography.
It’s been about ten years already, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I believe I was open to exploring new experiences related to golf around that time. During the summer of 2014, I worked as a caddiemaster at Sarfvik Golf, so perhaps it was during that period that I became more familiar with golf-related opportunities.
The score keeping is of course number one part, but I like to also follow the stats and join the challenges.
I have always rooted for the app so why not join telling the glad tidings and perks of the app. I hope that this will bring also more meaning for my coming summer of golf.
