Golf GameBook signs a 3-year marketing partnership with the Swedish Golf Federation – digital engagement solutions at the heart of the partnership.

, June 1,  2020 Golf GameBook and the Swedish Golf Federation have entered into a multi-year marketing partnership with the aim of further enhancing the digital ecosystem within Swedish golf.

The partnership aims to grow the game of golf by leveraging modern and innovative digital solutions that are not only environmentally friendly but also safe and practical in their use, as well as make the overall golfing experience even more enjoyable.

As the 2020 golfing season swings into full motion, the lineup of season long activities is impressive.

“Our season-long activation roadmap allows us to reach the full golfing community within the country. Ranging from juniors to seniors, we are all taking decisive steps towards a digitally driven and environmentally conscious approach to the game. Partnerships such as this allow us to co-create a vibrant digital ecosystem here in Sweden.” says Mathias Resare, Chief Marketing Officer of the Swedish Golf Federation.

Junior Program for the ages

Throughout the 2020 season, junior golfers will be able to take on their idols in never before seen virtual challenges as well as enter the chance to win “once in a lifetime” experiences. The Junior Program Ambassadors consist of football professionals Lina Hurtig and Oscar Hiljemark, golf industry legends Annika Sörenstam, Fanny Sunesson and Henrik Stenson as well as some of the rising stars of Swedish golf: Madelene Sagström, Linnea Ström and Marcus Kinhult.

Tour activations for the ladies (and gentlemen)

Starting May 18th, golfers across the Nordic countries will be able to join a series of pre-event virtual competitions consisting of the Creekhouse Ladies Open, The Nordic Tour as well as the MoreGolf Mastercard Tour.

Tour challenges kick off with a Nordic Golf Tour Challenge. The tour was launched in 2020 and it is a collaboration between the Swedish Golf Association and the PGA of Sweden, with the aim of increasing the interest in professional golf for women.

Senior Tour with a twist 

The Svensk Golf Senior Tour will be hosted as a series of Golf GameBook virtual competitions throughout the golfing season. All players over the age of 30 can join for a chance to beat their arch enemies and enter the chance to win amazing prizes from the Swedish Golf Federation partners.
