BMW Road to Gleneagles 2014 contest organized by Golf GameBook and BMW in the UK is approaching its end. UK golfers have until the end of this week to play golf and record their scores with GameBook. Each round played gives one entry to our prize draw, so the more you play the better your chance of winning. We are rewarding both individual golfers and the most active golf clubs. And there are still some spectacular prizes left to be won.
One more most active club will be rewarded and one more winner will be drawn for a spot in The Belfry Playoff at the end of the contest period, which means next Monday. At The Belfry Playoff, each of the weekly winners gets to build a team with a friend of their choice and compete for some top-of-the-line golf equipment from Titleist and FootJoy plus tickets to The Ryder Cup.
In the beginning of the contest it was Malton & Norton Golf Club in North Yorkshire that was making the headlines as their members were celebrating on two fronts. Malton & Norton Golf Club itself hosted the most rounds played with GameBook across the UK during the first weeks of the contest, and member, David Thompson, was drawn as the 2nd week’s individual winner, winning a place in The Belfry Playoff in August. “When I received the email about winning my spot at The Belfry Playoff, I was over the moon! I’ve never played at The Belfry and am looking forward to a great experience in August”, said David.
Michael Brooks, PGA Professional at Malton & Norton Golf Club, said: “We have a very active membership of 775 golfers and we are delighted that some of them have been selected for these prizes.” Individual winner, David Thompson, added: “I’ve been using Golf GameBook for about two months, and think it is a brilliant app. It is a great way to keep connected with your mates and see what they are scoring.”
And let’s not forget that at the beginning of next week, one lucky UK golfer will also be drawn as the grand prize winner of the mobile contest and will receive a VIP hospitality package to this year’s Ryder Cup that will be played at Gleneagles in September. So get on the course and turn your round into a once-in-a-lifetime experience this weekend. Good luck!
