Barngolfen 2017 was organized on June 12th at Hills Golf Club in Göteborg. The annual golf event, Barngolfen, is Sweden’s largest charity golf event. It is held to raise money for Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital (Drottning Silvias barn- och ungdomssjukhus). The money raised is used for making life easier for the children and to foster the recovery by creating a healing environment and meaningful moments.

Every year golf professionals, Swedish athletes and celebrities arrive at Hills Golf Club to enjoy the day of golf for a great cause. This year, the event’s participants included golf pros Johan Edfors, Cajsa Persson, Pelle Edberg, Sandra Carlborg, Johanna Björk, Rickard Karlberg, Julia Davidsson, Sebastian Söderborg, Louise Larsson and Thomas Björn just to name a few. In addition, the Swedish celebrities included Anders Ekborg, Barbro Lill-Babs Svensson, David Lindgren, Lotta Engberg, Viktor Svedberg and many more Swedish stars.

The day was full of laughter and smiles on the golf course. Each golf group had one golf pro and one Swedish celebrity. The game was scored on GameBook with Scramble as the game format. The winning team included golf pro Jessica Karlsson, tennis star Anders Järryd, Göran Källfält, Björn Källfält and Jonas Wilkens.
