We want to introduce you to #GBambassador Hans from Göteborg. Hans is a member at Albatross GK, where we filmed our latest video of the match between our Göteborg and Stockholm Ambassadors. He has played 871 rounds with GameBook on 68 different courses. When did you begin golf, and who inspired you to begin the sport?…
This time we are introducing you to #GBambassador Maria from Sweden. Maria participated in the Ambassador weekend in Göteborg. I received a message from Maria on Saturday saying that she’ll be in Helsinki on Tuesday afternoon before her flight to Spain. Johannes and I decided to pick her up from the airport and take her to…
We are excited to introduce you to one of our Finnish Ambassadors, Miro. He has played an impressive amount of rounds with GameBook, 709 to be exact. Miro started to golf when he was 11 years old. He had to stop playing golf for about 6 years because he solely focused on handball at the time. However,…
They say that you’re never too young to be a golfer and we agree. A few weeks ago we received a tweet from Joanne saying that her 8 year-old daughter loves using our app to track her progress. We are thrilled to introduce you to perhaps our youngest GameBook user, Jessie. She lives in the UK with her…
Barngolfen 2017 was organized on June 12th at Hills Golf Club in Göteborg. The annual golf event, Barngolfen, is Sweden’s largest charity golf event. It is held to raise money for Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital (Drottning Silvias barn- och ungdomssjukhus). The money raised is used for making life easier for the children and to foster the recovery…
As we all know, it is rather difficult to find the time to golf sometimes. I mean who wishes that they would have a bit more time to golf instead of sitting at the office? There is a man though, who plays golf around 8 times per week. We introduced him to you in our…
In the beginning of June we organized a match between our Ambassadors from Göteborg and Stockholm. The match was held on Saturday June 3rd at Albatross Golfklubb in Göteborg. The course was in fantastic shape, as the greens were smooth and the fairways were cut perfectly. The day was sunny and full of laughter; with a small…

In this blog Golf GameBook’s staff will discuss the app and Golf related topics – all for the sport we love.
We believe every golfer deserves a gallery to share experiences with other golfers and a diary to store their precious golf memories. That’s what GameBook is all about.
Golf GameBook app is like a clubhouse in your pocket. We offer you the most effective and social way to keep score in golf allowing you to connect with other golfers and share live results, comments, photos and videos – no matter where you are, on and off the golf course.

Team Göteborg included Camilla, Hans and Ulrich. Camilla has played 74 rounds with GameBook and has a handicap of 13,9. Hans is a member at Albatross GK, so he brought some local-knowledge into the team. He has played 856 rounds with GameBook and golfs with a handicap of 4,2. Ulrich plays with a handicap of 6,4 and has recorded 93 rounds with the app. All three of them are active GameBook Ambassadors in Göteborg.
Camilla, Ulrich and Hans celebrating their sinking putts!
Team Stockholm was made up of Maria, Lasse and Johnny. Maria played college golf at Shorter University in Georgia. She plays off a 2 handicap and has 34 rounds on GameBook. Lasse has a handicap of 10,3 and has played 122 rounds with the app. Johnny plays off a 9,4 handicap and has 171 rounds on the app.
Both teams had incredible team spirit and the amount of confidence on the 1st tee was quite something 😉 The game format of the day was Best Ball Stableford Net with the 2 best scores from each hole. After the front nine, Team Göteborg had taken a pretty strong lead in the match. That did not slow down Team Stockholm, as they had 5 holes on the back nine with a birdie score.
Team Göteborg managed to keep their game together by sinking putts on the back nine as well. In the end, it was Team Göteborg that took the victory of the match.
After the match, all of the Ambassadors joined us at Gothenburg Studios, where we had arranged a photo shoot with our Ambassadors. We got to use all sorts of props, so some dressed up as policemen and others as rock-stars. Let’s not embarrass anyone, so we’ll publicly show a rather official picture of the group 😉 All in all we had an unforgettable weekend with our Ambassadors from Stockholm and Göteborg. Make sure to follow each of them on GameBook to stay tuned on their golf experiences.
